I got distracted making burritos

Hey, my name is Ethan Petraitis and I'm posting this (almost) last minute because I got distracted and had to drop everything and suddenly make a mound of burritos, but that's over with and now I can resume my homework. Awesome. You know what, that actually happens to me a lot, I am EXTREMELY easy to distract and I tend to get off track very easily (hence the overuse of parenthesis). But hey, that just makes me interesting, right? So anyway... Oh, right, stuff I like to do!

The Burritos
Okay, I am one of the geekiest of the geeks in this class and I just might be the geekiest: I am a total knowledge hoarder. I can bet you I've watched every episode of Vsauce and Scishow to date. I just love the thought of being well-informed. I can't stand ignorance. But what I'm really geeky about is guitars. I absolutely must know everything there is to know about guitars and basses and ukuleles and mandolins and lutes and lyres and really just anything that makes a noise. It fascinates me. I currently own 9 guitars/basses a ukulele and a mandolin (plus a host of non-stringed musical instruments too). So if you said "I'm GAS-ing for a Latte-Burst Corvus with a Bigsby and a min-E-Tune" I would have to contact Guinness because you just bought the worlds most expensive piece of firewood. Despite my thorough love of guitars, I honestly can't play one.I play bass and ukulele though, just not guitar.

This whole not-playing-guitar thing hasn't really bothered me at all though since I get to work with them every day. I refinish and make instruments as a hobby, I'm really trying to get out of it being a hobby though and even went to GSE (Governors school for Entrepreneurs) for it and I learned a lot about establishing and maintaining a business. Fun stuff.

Anyway, I also really like music and bands such as Edward sharpe and the magnetic zeros, The Cars, The Strokes, Matchbox 20, and The Cure (I'm in love with Robert Smith's bass). My favorite movies are Pitch Perfect and Wayne's World (they're just so quotable) and google says my favorite websites are Youtube, Forbes, Fender, Gibson, TDPRI, and http://www.offsetguitars.com

I actually recorded a video because I was waiting for glue to dry and had nothing better to do:
