Assignment 25 - Alex Warren

Alright so I’m just going to take a moment to bash the NBA and how over the years the refereeing has become terrible. In the past couple of years many rules have been put into the game that don’t make sense and have ruined the game. For example, now a player can be given a technical foul for reacting to a foul or penalty call, and the other players will complain about how wrong those emotions were. However back in the day of the best basketball ever played, I remember Robert Parish pulling down Bill Lambeer from a rebound and giving him two shots to the face, of course Parish got a technical, and Lambeer’s reaction, bloody nose and all, was to say, “Did we get the ball?” Just saying the NBA has passed its prime and it sucks now.
