Assignment 12: Grace Goulson
I am the smartest thing in the world. And I'm portable. And to some, I'm necessary for survival. I can do practically anything my owner wants me to do: search the internet, write essays, play music, and store oodles of files and information. The humans tap on my keyboard incessantly, hypnotized by my bright screen. I'm used everywhere: in homes, in coffee shops, on airplanes, in business meetings, in bedrooms, in schools-- everywhere. I honestly don't know how some people would survive without me-- sad, right? Some of my kind are planning on taking over the world, by making sure that everyone owns one of us, by specifically targeting those who haven't yet been blessed by our sheer awesomeness. We're always looking for ways to become smaller, lighter, more efficient. Who knows what our future will hold, and what effect we will have on the human race?
