Assignment 8: Writing Territories- Wes Grigsby

A car crash is a definite fear of mine. One second, you're alive and well, the next you could be nothing more and a menagerie of flesh. It is scary. What is scarier, that you could die because some idiot got drunk, got high off drugs, is sending a text, is an idiot, isn't paying attention, or mechanical failure that you could die in a moment's notice. I don't even like thinking about it. It is a miracle that creatures like our selves are able to drive so much and still have so little accidents, if you think about it. The most scary thing about it is that even though cars become more advanced, there is always the threat that some idiot will end your life in a second. What scares me more, though, is that we never really think about it until a crash affects us or the people we know, enough to act, or just to think about it enough to attempt to not be in a crash.
