On October 5th, 1944 suffrage was extended to women in France. This is good because in my opinion, women deserve the same rights that men do. This event probably influenced more countries to grant suffrage to women. This probably didn't influence my existence because I'm American (just pointing that out). I definitely don't loathe this event because I am a woman myself, but I definitely appreciate the fact that countries finally felt the need to give women rights.
