Assignment 9- make up

I'm one of those people who would like to avoid war at all costs. I don't like hearing about all of the destructiveness going on today. I will admit, I am not the most informed person when it comes to the issue of war. I could probably pay more attention to it. I just think that if people were more open to negotiations and weren't so hostile (I am not calling our leaders hostile, but there are some out there who are), war might be able to be avoided. I do believe that each country has the right to defend and protect itself and its citizens, however they see fit. I guess this would just be the lesser of two evils if war was inevitable. War should be more of a last resort if everything else fails. It seems like these days violence is the first thing people jump to if there is a conflict. There are other ways to resolve issues between countries.
