This boy, shot and killed by the Syrian army, is being held by his father just outside Dar al-shifa Hospital, Syria.

Shocking the world around us, this picture reveals the reality and urgency of the situation in Syria. We as Americans have brought our attention over to problems other than those of our own country. It changes how we view this community in Syria.

More importantly, the situation affects those in Syria greatly. They feel threatened and under attack in their own country as innocent people, like this boy, are being killed every day.
