Good and Evil Ryan Collins

I believe that no one is truly evil, and though it may seem like an individual is doing horrific, evil things, that person may not understand what they are doing or view it the same way other people with superior morals do. Now, I am not saying that no one should be responsible for their actions because they simply thought they were doing the right thing, I just cant believe that people would intentionally engage in acts labeled “evil” with the sole purpose of hurting others. Thankfully, most of the crimes or dishonorable acts today are committed because of other intentions that fall into that “grey area” of morals. An example is if a family member of yours is diagnosed with cancer and needs money for treatment, and you are not in good a financial position, so the only means of obtaining the funds for the treatments would be do steal them or obtain them illegally. Though stealing money would be wrong, doing nothing would be wrong as well, which is why it falls into the infamous grey area where the ends justify the means. I don’t believe there is an ancient struggle between good and evil, only people trying to do what they think is right.
