Vancouver Riot Kiss

This picture is from the Vancouver Stanley Cup Riot back in 2011. This picture was said to be the most compelling kiss photographs.
During the riots, this woman and her boyfriend were pushed by the riot police and she landed head first and he landed on top of her. The police didn't help them or anything, they just ran off. She was crying and he was trying to comfort her. The boy's father said "How's that for making love, not war?" This picture was a media sensation, showing everyone that good things can happen in a time of destruction, around $5 million of it.                                                               Theguardian.com
