TV

When I get home from school, I'm usually tired. So I do one of two things: I take a short nap or I watch a short TV show. Neither one requires much thinking, if any at all. When I watch shows on my television, it's usually when I'm tired and don’t want to talk to my family, or when my family wants to watch a show together (which is not very often). More often, I watch shows on my computer via Hulu, or I watch movies I own. My favorite show is either Friends or BBC's Sherlock. This isn't to say that I don’t like other shows, I just like these best. Friends is easy to watch, and it is ALWAYS on TV. Sherlock is harder to find, but I enjoy the story better. It only has two seasons, but the second season finale made me break down in tears. It has seriously ruined my life. I think about it all the time, thinking of conspiracy theories, possible plotlines for the third season (if it would ever come out), etc. The show is just like books for me, and books ruin my life. I will stay up until literally 3 in the morning, on a school night, just to finish them. As long as the show isn't mind-numbing, I think it's okay to watch it. And also as long as you still see the light of the outside world at some point.
