iWrite- Ethan Petraitis

Technology has always been a huge part of my life. For the past few years I’ve been fixing phones (with parts from Ebay) and then selling them (on Ebay) so just right there I would not have been able to make money if it was not for iPhones being so poorly crafted. I love fixing computers and I really enjoy taking apart computers and building them back up again. With the technology available today I could sketch a guitar, scan it at kinkos, and send that through the internet to a producer in china where it will be carved out by a computerized machine all in a day. That’s incredible.

With all the leaps in global networking, we are able to achieve so much more than we would be able to otherwise in our local communities. I personally try to let technology aid me in communicating with other people that I might not have a change to face-to-face and not to shut out the person next to me because I’m too busy looking up recipes on pintrest to communicate with them. Does that make sense? I hope that made sense.
