I believe that technology has impacted me in a positive way, because I would be majorly bored without my Iphone, MacBook Pro, and gaming consoles/handhelds, while living in this time period. First off my Iphone affected, correction affects, me positively because I have the power to be social without actually being social. I am constantly on Twitter, Ask.fm, Snapchat, etc. I can save myself from those awkward, real life, social situations by picking up my Iphone and “texting somebody.”
My MacBook, I guess you could say that it helping me post my blog is a positive impact. Really though the most positive impact it has on me is The ability to use apps Final Cut Pro and Garage Band to help me edit videos and such for school projects or if I want to upload a personal video to Youtube. 
My Xbox, allows me to do a lot of the things my phone and computer are able to do and it lets me sharpen my brain skills while letting me play my favorite video games, such as Call Of Duty, NBA 2K13, and Skyrim. Best of all the gaming devices I own is definitely my Gameboy, which lets me play my favorite childhood game, Pokemon (which I can now also play on my Iphone). I guess you could say that Pokemon also “Peaks my geek meter.”
